Expect the unexpected in Northern California for the
month of November. Expect ANYTHING from sun to rain, with fairly
mild days and cooler nights. By the first of NOVEMBER there could be
(MIGHT be) snow on Interstate 80 above Reno, Nevada on your way into
California. Be prepared!! (see I-80 mountains info
below)

What ammenities does the hotel provide? **
Pool, whirlpool spa, fitness center; safe, newstand, fax & copy
machines, dry cleaning service, free airport shuttle (VANS will be
supplied by NCAMA members to transport dogs and equipment). Rooms have:
iron, ironing board, coffee maker, clock radio, TV with HBO (movies and
video games at extra charge), data port, work desk, dial direct telephone,
air conditioning.
RV parking area: Is there power and water
available? ** No water is accessable on the RV parking
site. However, a truck will be coming to pump tanks and hose will be
brought out to refill tanks during the week. No power is available on the
RV parking site. HOWEVER, those people who have PAID
for power will be hooked up to a large generator in the RV parking area
and the cost will be split between them. Where can we bath or dogs? ** A bathing area
is set up BEHIND the hotel, almost directly behind the reserved
grooming room (Kitty Hawk).
Is there power in the grooming areas? ** Yes.
Plenty of power in both the non reserved and reserved grooming areas.
Grooming areas are INSIDE the hotel, located in KITTY HAWK
(reserved), CHINA CLIPPER (reserved) and HORIZON (grooming). Kitty Hawk
and China Clipper reserved grooming is on the left of the ballroom down a
short hall. Horizon is on the right of the ballroom right next door. The
RESERVED grooming spaces are 5 feet by 8 feet (1.5 x 2.4 meters). A fourth grooming area under canopes outside will be set up
in the parking lot (with power provided by generator) behind the hotel
near the inside grooming areas.
Will there be kennels set up as "potty" areas? **
Yes. There will be at least three free standing kennels with pine
shavings for dogs to relieve themselves. LAWNS ARE OFF LIMITS. The potty
areas will be kept clean with fresh pine shavings as needed. XPENS can be set up along the back of the hotel parking lot
near the dog wash area.
Will there be a tank pumping service supplied to
the RVs? ** Yes. Pumping service is scheduled for Wednesday. Hoses
will be extended from the hotel to refill tanks but will NOT be in place
except on the days scheduled for pumping.
Where can I get more
information about the area and the hotel? ** When you arrive at the
hotel, check in with the WELCOME committee inside the lobby. You will
receive a packette with tons of information about the area as well as the
nearest shopping, fast food, dining, grocery, hospital and veterinary

Are the seminars free? Do I have to pre register?
** yes the seminars are free, except for "the Puppy Puzzle" presented
by Pat Hastings. The puppy puzzle seminar has a $5 fee. You do not need to
pre register, but you CAN pre register for the puppy puzzle. (see Special Event Information ) It is requested
that we volunteer to sign up for a table to sit at for the Auction. This
is not required but is desired. Info will be available at the Auction
table in the ballroom. Will the show be video taped and can I buy the
tape? Yes the show will be professionally video taped and yes you can
buy the tape. Order information coming soon.
Will show results be posted on this website? **
I will attempt to add PARTIAL show results as time allows during the
week of the show. I will be AT the show most of the time, but when I come
home off and on, I will try to add what results I have. Where can I go to ask a question not posted here?
