 Regional Specialty

through
Wednesday October 22, 2003

The 2003 National and Northeast Regional Specialty will be held in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, just a few miles over the Connecticut border, in south central Massachusetts. New England in mid October is a wonderful sight, the foliage is displaying it's scarlet blaze of color and the area is booming with fall festivals and other related activities.

Trying to find a show site to host our National at this time of year was not an easy task. We were very fortunate to find a hotel that meets all our needs and want us at their facility. Many of you who attended the 1993 National in New England at the Boxborough Host Hotel will remember the wonderful exhibition hall. Well we were able to find a similar facility, Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center, with a 12,000 sq. ft. exhibition hall which is typically twice the size of most hotel's grand ballrooms. This facility has a lot to offer for our week of showing. The area offers many interesting placing to visit including Old Sturbridge Village which is a 200 acre village of the 1830's. The village is a major tourist attraction.

Due to facility availability and concerns expressed by the membership in the past we have decided to host the AMCA National Specialty prior to the Regional Specialty. Individuals who wish to only attend all of the National events will be able to enjoy the complete event.
