• Funding for the Charter Member Event is Critical

  The 2003 National Specialty Committee and AMCA’s Breeder’s Education Committee are committed to cover the expenses for all available Charter Members to attend.

  This means their transportation and accommodations will be fully paid for along with them being our guest at the AMCA banquet. This is a hefty bill to cover but feel this is an opportunity of a lifetime for our AMCA membership. Several AMCA members have offered their frequent flyer miles for redemption to cover the airline expenses for the Charter Members coming from long distances.

  The second major expense is their accommodations at our host hotel. Many members have inquired as to how they can help and we have decided to offer sponsorship of the Charter Member’s accommodations. Accommodation sponsorship is being offered at $100.00.

This item will be a special auction item at the National Specialty.

• OLD BOOKS RAFFLE:  The Matotts are offering from their own collection library copies of the following titles which are almost impossible to acquire.
   

• The Long Whip is about the Byrd Expedition 2 and features some Malamutes before they became registered. The person referred to in "The Long Whip" is Bill Matott’s late friend, Ed Moody. This book is in fair condition.

• Chinook and His Family was written by Short Seeley and features Rowdy, Jad &  Bessie before they were registered Alaskan Malamutes. This book is in good condition.
