Several mini seminars and clinics are in
the planning stages. Current plans are in progress for the following:
-
Microchip Identification:
A microchip is a
rice-sized device encoded with a unique and unalterable identification
number. The "chip" is implanted just under the skin in the scruff of the
neck and is read by a scanner. To help predetermine quantity of
microchips needed, we will be accepting pre-registrations at discounted
prices.
Scheduled on Friday October 17th and
Sunday
October 19th at 11:00 AM
-
Well Dog Eye Clinic:
CERF Ophthalmologist
exams. Open to all dogs (whether or not they are entered in the show),
eight weeks of age or older. # of performed exams will be determined by
ophthalmologist. We will be accepting reservations by pre-registration.
Additional registrations will be taken if space is available. Dogs
entered will be scheduled after their judging times if at all possible.
-
Mini Judging Seminar:
It has come to our
attention that there are many individuals that would truly be interested
in knowing more about the AKC basic judging procedures that need to be
followed to be a sweepstakes judge. Do you want to offer to judge a
sweepstakes but are insecure about doing things right once you are in
the ring. We don’t mean picking the right dog, we mean filling out the
AKC book and making sure you don’t break any “judging rules”. If so,
this free mini seminar is a must attend for you.
Scheduled on Saturday October 18th
at 3:30 PM
