This event will be a showcase
of our very special veteran dogs and bitches. The whole theme of this
National specialty is honoring the foundation and history of our wonderful
breed. With this showcase event we wish to honor today’s veterans which play
an important role in the future of our breed.
The show committee has decided that all of our veteran are very special and
did not want to have our judge labor over the merits of one against the
other from different age groups for a final competition. This will NOT be a
sweepstakes event with only one Grand Winner. Each age group, divided by
sex, will be honored and awarded separately with the selection of ONE WINNER
PER CLASS. There will be 3 age group classes for each sex, so ultimately
there will be six winners. Each veteran entrant is special and no dog or
bitch will leave with ring without a ribbon. All participants will be
awarded with a gorgeous participation rosette.
