In 2005, the Great Lakes region welcomes the AMCA and its members to The Holiday Inn Conference Center in Columbus, Indiana.  Borrowing our theme from the state motto of Indiana, “Crossroads of America”, this all-things-malamute extravaganza promises to be a memorable series of events and experiences in the heart of America during a fabulous fall season full of color, adventure and excitement. The 2005 National will feature clinics, heady weight pulls, informative seminars, an engaging “Evening of the Stars”, a thrilling Top 20, dutiful obedience and enthusiastic agility.  Slated judges include Roger Hartinger, Dr. Carmen Battaglia, Sally Vogel and Rosemary Leist.

Our show site at the Conference Center includes the Crystal Ballroom – a beautiful 8,900 sq. ft. carpeted space for an expansive ring   and plentiful seating with another 4,200 sq. ft. area for vendors. The Bartholomew Room is a “cozy” 1800 sq. ft. respite that will provide a friendly hospitality retreat from hectic National activities and an exquisite corner for those most memorable photos with your best buddies by our show photographer. All areas will have easy and open space to get to and from the rings. A unique feature for the 2005 National will be stadium-style, tiered seating, to allow for the maximum of unobstructed views of all the action in the rings.
