Columbus is located on Interstate I-65 in central Indiana. It is 244 miles north of Nashville TN (Rt. I-65), and 232 miles south of Chicago IL  (Rt. I-65). It is 49 miles south of Indianapolis IN. Indianapolis is 237 miles east of St. Louis MO (Rt. I-70) and 187 miles west of Columbus OH (Rt. I-70).
